Thoughts on work

I came across this company while I was looking for a job where I could convey the charm of Japanese culture to people both domestically and internationally. At the time, I had no interest in or knowledge of knives, and I had no idea that Japanese culture was involved.

Since then, I've realized that the more you know about this world, the deeper it is, and now I find enjoyment in learning every day. I'll never forget my initial reaction: "A sharp knife is so amazing! It completely changes the taste of the ingredients!" I have a variety of responsibilities with the goal to convey the appeal of knives to as many people as possible. We are working on this.

When it comes to customer service, we strive to make our customers think, "I'm glad I came to this store. I had a great time talking to the staff.

To anyone interested in working with us

Even if you are not confident in your English, as long as you are motivated, it will be okay! At first, I lost confidence and became pessimistic because I compared myself to others who were good at English (this actually happens to me a lot), but now I have a positive outlook and ask other staff members who are good at English questions whenever I need help.

I have recently started to feel like my vocabulary had improved.

However, since I joined the company during the coronavirus pandemic, I haven't had many opportunities to serve foreign customers, so I'm looking forward to having more opportunities to talk with them from this fall!

If you are looking for a job where you can use English, please come work with us. All the staff are kind and reliable, so I think you'll be able to adapt to the workplace quickly.
