Senzo Elagancia R2 Chef Knife 200mm
A versatile knife also known as a chef's knife. Shaped differently from a Santoku and Bunka, its blade length varies, starting from about 170mm. The most popular blade length for at-home use is approximately 210mm to 240mm.
Manufactured in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, this series uses rust-resistant R2 high-speed steel as the core material. Because it is made using extremely hard stainless steel called high-speed steel, it maintains its sharpness longer than other steel materials. The thick, curved handle is designed for easy grip even for those with large hands. The wide blade prevents your hands from touching the cutting board, and it also makes cutting large ingredients easier. *This series is only sold in Japan.
